Fighters, federates and leaders of the Party and Government, in the territory, recalled this July 28, date that coincides with the 98th Anniversary of Melba's birthday and the 39 of Haydeé's physical disappearance.

The tribute of remembrance to the only women, of the Centennial Generation, participants in the Moncada deed and who suffered prison for that fact was paid in front of the niches of the pantheon.

Haydeé Santamaría and Melba Hernández printed and distributed the allegation The Story Will Absolve Me and held important responsibilities after the revolutionary triumph, indicated by Fidel.
