Havana, Cuba: The president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Fernando González Llort, said that the imperial government has no right to try to subdue Cuba, or attack the political system we have freely choosen, Radio Reloj publishes.

At the ceremony for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Venceremos Brigade, chaired at the ICAP by the member of the Party Secretariat, Jorge Cuevas, González Llort added that the blockade also affects Cubans residing in the United States.

On behalf of three founders of the Venceremos Brigade, present at the tribute, Léslie Kéywan recalled the initial moments of that group that worked with Fidel in the cane cuts in the 10 million harvest.

She also reaffirmed the commitment of the young participants in the contingent to support the Cuban people in the face of the threats they face today due to President Trump's intervention policy.
