Havana: The XXVI Latin American and Caribbean Brigade of Voluntary Work and Solidarity with Cuba, made up of 100 participants from 10 nations, carries out a broad program in the Caribbean nation until next 10, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
The members of the Contingent expressed that they dedicate their visit to the 60th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution, and the 500 of the foundation of the capital of all Cubans.
The brigade will visit the provinces of Havana, Artemisa, Villa Clara and Matanzas, and will hold meetings with the people to learn about the reality of the Island.
During the reception, the brigade members denounced the blockade imposed by the United States, and rejected the application of the Helms-Burton Act, which, they said, is unenforceable because it cannot be legislated from one country to another.
