Havana: The realization in this capital of the 23 edition of MITM Americas in October attracts the attention of tourism professionals, especially congress organizers, Prensa Latina publishes.

A recent report by GSAR Marketing confirmed the participation of 10 Spanish hotel chains in the 23 edition of MITM Americas that will take place at the end of the year in Havana.

The Meliá, Iberostar, Barceló, Be Live, Riu, ROC, Evenia, Bahía Príncipe Hotels & Resorts, NH Hotel Group and VP Hoteles chains will be present at the meeting.

The 23th MITM Americas constitutes the pioneer and most influential trade fair for congress and meeting tourism in the Americas and the Caribbean.

America represents, in some cases, 25 percent of the turnover of Spanish hotel chains, which leads the ranking published annually by the World Tourism Organization (WTO).

The presence of Spanish hotel chains is joined by other international ones such as Accor, Louvre, Blue Diamond, Faranda, Gran Caribe, MGM Muthu, Four Points by Sheraton, and Cubanacán, many of them originated in Cuba.

The appointment is scheduled for the National Hotel of Cuba from October 14 to 17, and is part of the events that greet Havana's 500 years (November 16).

MITM Americas consolidated as the most important event for tourism professionals in meetings, congresses and business travel, becoming a synonym for business generation.
