Havana: Cuban authorities reinforce price controls today, in order to defend the salary increase that this month received more than 2.7 million public employees, Prensa Latina reports.

A tweet from the Ministry of Finance and Prices account informs that Minister Meisi Bolaños and her management team take actions to ensure that prices on products and services to the population throughout the national territory are met.

At the same time, the institution analyzes the fulfillment of the planned financing for the salary increase in the budgeted sector of the economy, which also includes pensioners.

Working groups and price observatories were established in different Cuban provinces, to which are added the creation of mechanisms to receive citizen complaints related to violations on the subject and the right to the consumer.

According to different information, violations in the proces of private carrier in some territories were pointed out over which disciplinary measures were adopted that will continue to be rigorously applied, according to the Ministry of Finance and Prices.
