Matanzas, Cuba: The beginning today at Ciénaga de Zapata of the 12th edition of the International Nature Tourism Event (Turnat 2019) corroborates the authorities' strategy to diversify recreational modalities, Prensa Latina publishes. 

This meeting attracts tour operators, travel agents and experts in the field from all parts of the world, to ratify this meeting as the most important of its kind in the country, with global enhancement.

Turnat will run until September 28 in this Cuban swamp, and will also cover three provinces: Matanzas, Cienfuegos and Sancti Spíritus.

The expectations among travel professionals have as background the 2017 version in eastern Cuba, when the themes of nature, adventures and rural tourism highlighted, which will be repeated now.

The delegates to this meeting come from Canada, the United States, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Panama, Ecuador, Venezuela and other countries, together with the Cuban hosts.
