Havana, Cuba: Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergey Prijodko said Russia will act in cooperation with Cuba in the field of energy, damaged by the US blockade, Radio Reloj publishes.

Moscow plans to invest up to 700 million euros in the renovation of 10 electric power generation units in 3 Cuban thermoelectric power plants, and plans financing in order to carry out that project, he explained.
For his part, the Prime Minister of Russia reiterated during his recent visit to the largest of the Antilles that his country will continue to strengthen cooperation with Cuba despite external pressure from the United States.
