Cuba: The Ministry of Internal Trade plays a fundamental role in the implementation of the most recent economic measures aimed at increasing offers and national production, Radio Reloj reports.

The head of the sector, Betsy Díaz, stressed that the country is not going to open new stores for the marketing of products in freely convertible currency, but in 77 selected establishments there will be departments for that purpose.

She stressed that in this first stage there will be commercial regulations to avoid hoarding or creating a parallel market, as the sale will begin in two provinces: Havana and Santiago de Cuba.

All items that will begin to be sold from next week, in freely convertible currency, have the right to guarantee, as the rules on consumer protection establishes.
