Cuba: The fourth perceptible earthquake of the current year was recorded yesterday by the network of stations of the National Seismological Service, with no reports of human or material damage and 27.2 kilometers south-east of Chivirico, Cubasí reports.

With a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter scale and at a depth of 2.6 kilometers, the tremor occurred at coordinates 19.73 north latitude and -76.36 west longitude, with an epicenter in that town of the coastal and mountainous municipality of Guamá, in this eastern province.

The signs of perceptibility came from Santiago and Guisa, in the territory of Granma, located in the south-eastern Cuban strip, the most vulnerable in the national geography for the occurrence of these natural phenomena.

The monitoring of experts from the National Center for Seismological Research (CENAIS) is intensified by the low behavior of telluric movements because that accumulation of energy in the bowels of the earth does not necessarily imply good news.
