Havana: Researchers from the United States, Germany, Dominican Republic, Peru and Sweden, among others, participate today in the III Symposium of the Cuban Revolution, Genesis and Historical Development, in Havana, Radio Reloj publishes.
Historians, political scientists and economists will exchange experiences at the event based in the Convention Center of the capital of all Cubans, until next day 31.
The transformation process that the Island has been promoting for 60 years and the role of Fidel Castro (1926-2016), architect and historical leader of this emancipatory project, stand out among the themes of the event.
To carry out the analysis and presentations, the 150 delegates (50 of them foreigners) will be grouped into 11 work commissions.The participants will participate in collateral activities such as an exhibition of original posters about the Cuban Revolution and book presentations.
Three panels on the figure and universal legacy of the Commander in Chief will take place in the event, which has been held every two years since 2015, brings together scholars from Hungary, China, the Czech Republic, Thailand, Mongolia and Venezuela for the first time.
