The day before, the researcher of the Institute of History of Cuba, Elvis Rodríguez stressed the importance of investigating and deepening the thinking of the Commander in Chief.

"From early on, Fidel Castro was one of the most consistent critics of the imperial bill development model," he said.

"Conceiving a different project in the Caribbean island as Fidel thought it would always have a high risk," Rodriguez said.

Making a Revolution is a complex process, especially if it is built near a powerful empire, the professor said.

For Fidel Castro, the creation of an anti-capitalist platform was necessary, to give the people their voice and democratize the culture, Rodríguez said.

The Commander-in-Chief - emphasized the academic - advocated the formation of men of science, thought and revolutionary culture.

The appointment brings together researchers from the USA, Germany, Dominican Republic, Peru and Sweden, among others.

This event brings together scholars from Hungary, China, the Czech Republic, Thailand, Mongolia and Venezuela for the first time.
