Havana, Cuba_ The Vietnamese authorities donate five thousand tons of rice to Cuba, Prensa Latina publishes.

In the ceremony for the signing of the donation document at the host building of the Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment Ministry (MINCEX) was Vietnamese National Reserve General Director Pham Phan Dung, accompanied by other Vietnamese executives.

Rigoberto Noa, Minrex director for Commercial Policies with Asia and Oceania and other executives were representing the Cuban part.

Vietnamese Ambassador in Cuba Doung Minh and Cuban enterprise ALIMPORT director Ariel Fiallo were other executives present in the ceremony.

The parts highlighted the excellent bonds of friendship and economic - commercial cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba, and the struggle vocation for the liberation and consolidation of both nations.

Pham Dung certified that in the most recent years Vietnam supports Cuba for the solution of its difficulties and the managers' exchange of high status grows in this exchange, with periodic visits.

He said that in the period 2016-2020 they develop joint projects of economic collaboration as it is the case of the support to the rice production in this archipelago, and a Vietnamese company already has dealings in the Area of Special Development of the Mariel for nappies.

For his part, Noa was grateful for the Vietnamese gesture and emphasized the increasing interest of companies of this Asian country to invest in Cuba.

He showed as well as Cuba cooperates with Vietnam in the production of medicines and vaccines, only someone in its type.
