Cuba: Thousands of university and middle school students from all over Cuba will remember on November 27 the eight medical students shot by Spanish colonialism 148 years ago, the Cuban News Agency reports.

The member of the National Secretariat of the University Student Federation, Mohamed Asís Pérez Caldevilla, declared that the young people will descend through the University of Havana, until they reach the Mausoleum of La Punta, to pay tribute to the murdered students.

He explained that members of the University Student Federation and the Federation of Middle School Students will concentrate from two in the afternoon, local time, in areas of the university hill to, from there, parade down San Lazaro Street and raise their voices for the continuity of the Revolution and against the blockade.

The student will pay tribute to those innocent in the Mausoleum of La Punta, singing before the unforgettable grave, as Martí said, the hymn of life.
