Havana, Cuba_ Zhang Tuo, China's ambassador in Havana, highlighted the excellent relations between the communist parties of Cuba and China, in occasion of the 95 anniversary of the creation of the Chinese party organization, Juventud Rebelde publishes.
In the ceremony presided over by José Ramón Machado Ventura, second secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers they highlighted the strong links between the two institutions, since more than half a century ago.
In his words, the Chinese Ambassador expressed that the links between the two parties enhance the relations between the two countries.
He mentioned that serving the people and seeking the benefit of the vast majority is among the principles of Chinese Communist Party, as the only fighting purpose.
According to Mercedes López Acea, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba, Vice President of the Council of State and first secretary of the Party in Havana, the political relations between the two countries are at the highest level and are characterized by smooth communication and permanent exchange.
She reiterated the Cubans’ gratitude for the support from the Party, the government and Chinese people in the fight for the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States to Cuba for over half a century.
Lopez Acea appreciated the cooperation of the Asian giant to the development of the Caribbean nation and assured it is an expression of the strengthening and consolidation of the ties of friendship between the two countries.
The Communist Party of China was founded on July 192, in the city of Shanghai, by a small group of Marxist revolutionaries, initiating a trascendental moment in the life and development of the nation.
