Santiago de Cuba, Cuba__ Lazaro Exposito, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the province of Santiago de Cuba, called on the people of this territory to continue their daily routine and work together to face the anomalous seismic situation, Radio Reloj publishes.

The leader highlighted the discipline, fairness and unity of families and neighbors, kept since early Sunday, when the intense seismic activity located 40 kilometers southwest of the city began.

"During the last few hours the situation tends to the normalization, but we must remain vigilant because it is not possible to predict when a major earthquake will occur,"  according to Vladimir Moreno, director of the National Seismological Research Center.

The panelists answered the population’s concerns, and the television center in Santiago de Cuba, will broadcast a similar program  today at five p.m.
