Havana, Cuba_ The Airbus TO-320, of the airline JetBlue will arrive this Wednesday at Abel SantamarÃa International Airport, in Santa Clara's city, with 150 passengers, coming from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Radio Reloj publishes.
Anthony Foxx, secretary of Transport of the United States, is among the visitors who expressed his interest in exchanging with Cuban authorities of the Aviation and the Ministry of Transport.
With that arrival both countries materialize the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed among the two nations which agreed the realization of up to 110 daily flights from the United States to the Island, 90 through provincial airports and 20 in Havana.
The arrival of the airlines in the provinces of HolguÃn, Cienfuegos, Camagüey and Matanzas will continue in September. The Cuban authorities outlined that the flights to Havana are still in recruiting conversations.
