Havana, Cuba_ The Federation of University Students, FEU in Spanish, condemned this Friday those more than 10 programs of Subversive Scholarships of the Non-Governmental Organization World Learning that attempt against the integrity of the Cuban youths, Radio Reloj publishes.
Raúl Palmero, president of FEU, of the University of Havana, UH, called to reflect on the true intentions of United States, and said that it is not about condemning those that have fallen into the game, but of denouncing the subversive actions.
Mario Salvador, Psychology graduate from Argentina, pointed out that the foreign youths that come to study to our country are example of legality regarding the scholarships and rejected the immoral policy of Washington.
The students protested against the programs of Subversive Scholarships of the ONG World Learning, organization paid by agencies under North American strategic guidelines of the State Department.
Antonio Torres Reyes, student of Geography, recognized that the attractiveness of the courses in other country, not only for a Cuban youth but for any other is interesting, but we cannot lose the integrity and the revolutionary principles taught by our predecessors.
In appearance those projects are innocent, but they really pursue to train the youths around the capitalist and contra revolutionaries values, ThalÃa Fuentes, secretary of Communication of UH affirmed.
Cubans have tools to identify the reality and to check that the objective of the scholarships programs, financed by the United States, is not the intellectual training.
