Havana, Cuba_ 950 students from Havana’s preuniversity institute (IPU) Manolito Aguiar, in Marianao, stamped their signatures in support to the student denounces taking places during these days across the country against the US subversion, Juventud Rebelde reported.
"Yankee imperialism cannot offer more than the Cuban Revolution has given us during this 58 years." This idea of the Federation of High School Students (FEEM) led the mural, in which students stamped their support for this collective voice.
That is the strategy used by the US government when, in the voice of organizations such as World Learning provides training scholarships to the youth of this island.
This way reflected Armando Echenique, president of the FEEM in the capital group, who spoke with the students of his center on these plans. "Cuba is not opposed to the exchange, but as long as it runs through our institutions and with respect to the socialist principles we have defended for over half a century," he revealed.
"Young Cubans leaders grow up naturally, thanks to this society in which they live," defended Echenique, and evoked the confidence of the leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro, in the victory of the Cuban people and the youth.
According to Denisse Perez Mederos, high school senior, it must be the young people who work for the future of Cuba. We agree with the relations between both countries, but not changing the order of our fair and equitable system. "Only freedom allows peace and wealth," he said.
Other members of the FEEM made clear their points of view and conviction to march side by side with the country to face any attempt of destabilization.
And for those who did not expressed in public, there was the famous mural created in the IPU Manolito Aguiar, where the signs speak for themselves about the love of Cuban youth for their nation.
