Meanwhile, Javier Alejandro Tassé, second secretary of the Young Communists League (UJC) of the Medical Sciences University, questioned "why they do not lift the blockade for a better quality in our-educational teaching process" and said "building the country is in the hands of young people".

In another school, the senior high school Thomas David Royo Valdes, Alicia Hernandez Dotres, vice president of the FEEM, said that Cuba is not opposed to intellectual exchange with the United States; we only require prior knowledge of the country's authorities in a direct form and not through third parties.

"We condemn US interference, its policy toward Cuba does not change, now they are applying it in a more subtle way to new generations, because they think we are easily to be influenced" Yilian Hernandez Peñalver, high school student said.
