Santa Clara, Cuba_ More than 1 200 spare parts for the repair and the maintenance of the sugar power stations of the whole country, were delivered by the Mechanic Factory Aguilar Noriega which implies an important contribution to the success of the coming harvest, Granma newspaper publishes.

Idael Hidalgo Cruz, director of that entity, highlighted the production of crowns, pinions, washers, sprockets, hammers, blades, scrappers, lateral boxes, ball bearing and copling, among the main productions asked By Azumat Company, in charge of the distribution.

Besides those works, the known as factory of factories, founded by Che in 1964, is also working in the foundry of about 500 wheels for the rail cars, used in minor repairs of the roads; counterbalances for the service lift of Moncar UEB of Santa Clara and cazuelas for the José Martí Antillana de Acero, the executive highlighted.

They also pay service to other Cuban industries in prioritized programs, as those of hydro-energy, with the repair of 12 hydraulic turbines for the mini- hydroelectric power station of the country, besides elaborating components for the repair of the biggest installation of this kind in Cuba, located in Hanabanilla dam.

In the same way, it stands out the elaboration of metallic structures for the Agricultural Company Valle del Yabú, several spare parts for the rice croppers of the Industrial Company of Grains Emilio Córdova in Encrucijada and a tank for the factory of Feeding Stuffs of Texico in Caibarién.

As Hidalgo Cruz expressed, Mechanics Plants is in these moments imbued in a process of technological reconversion that includes the step to numeric control of five machines tools, which will propitiate the creation of complete profiles parts with bigger precision and quality, besides enlarging their possibilities to be inserted in the international market.
