Havana, Cuba_ The President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Tran Dai Quang, will arrive in Cuba tomorrow, November 15th, on an official visit, Granma newspaper published.

The distinguished visitor will hold official talks with Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, and will carry out other activities.

Dai Quang will develop an extensive program of activities on the island until next Thursday, when he will leave for Peru to participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum in Lima, Peru.

Vietnam and Cuba keep relations in sectors such as agriculture, tourism, construction, commerce and education, among others, which explains the exchange of delegations to consolidate and expand ties that overcome geographical distance and are characterized by mutual support and common positions in Multilateral forums, mainly at the UN.
