Havana, Cuba_ Cuba ends this Sunday the completion of the two National Defense Days which, together with the three days of the Strategic Exercise Bastion 2016, consolidate the preparation of troops and people to repel any enemy attack, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

Military units and reserve forces will continue on Sunday in the field actions, before a simulation of an armed aggression.

The Territorial Troops Militias, the Production and Defense Brigades and the Defense Councils at various levels will be activated under the defensive doctrine of War of the Entire People will also be active.

On the eve, evacuation and protection of the population, food security, transport, health, water, communications, energy and education were reviewed in each territory, as well as actions to prepare the command and direction bodies.

He emphasized the maneuvers of the Troop Group 60th Anniversary of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, which was successfully carried out at the Center for Studies of the Central Army, attended by FAR vice ministers, Army Corps generals Álvaro López Miera and Joaquín Quintas Solá, and Major General Raúl Rodríguez Lobaina, head of the Central Army.

It was an action of rejection to a supposed invasion of the enemy where the military art came out forceful reflected in the precision of the exercises carried out by the militias and the production and defense brigades, as well as by the regular forces.

As is traditional, these activities take place the weekend after the Bastion strategic exercise, with the purpose of improving the preparation and strengthening the military invulnerability of the nation.
