Havana, Cuba__ The house in which José Martí was born, reopened as a tribute to the 163 birth anniversary of the Cuban national hero, after an intense restoration work, Radio Reloj publishes.

At Leonor Pérez street, is placed the typical colonial house, protagonist of the birth of José Martí and which keeps the history of the Master.

Declared National Monument in 1949, the house has expanded over the years with a library and a classroom museum where primary school children carry out cultural programs.

The building, shows the visitors in seven rooms, personal effects which the Apostle used in his childhood and adolescence, and the spaces where he lived with his family.
