Havana, Cuba_ The member of the Politic Buro, Miguel Diaz-Canel, Cuba's First Vice President, received yesterday the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Yukiya Amano, Radio Reloj publishes.

The meeting reviewed the relationship between that entity and the Caribbean island, as well as the development of cooperation projects on human health, agricultural protection and environment.

The meeting also verified the implementation of those plans and future opportunities for strengthening.

During his visit, Yukiya Amano will tour institutions that apply nuclear technology in vital areas such as human health, among other activities.
