Holguín, Cuba_ Cuban President Raul Castro attended yesterday in the burial of the ashes of his brothers Ángela and Ramón Castro, in Birán, their hometown, in the eastern province of Holguín, Prensa Latina reports.

By family decision, the remains of the brothers - Angelita, who died in February 2012 and Ramón in February of 2016 - were placed in the family pantheon where the remains of her parents and grandparents also rest, the note added.

The farewell words were pronounced by the Cuban historian Eusebio Leal, who considered this farm as the school where everything began, and where today lives the spirit of the Castro Ruz family.

At the end of the burial ceremony, Raul Castro toured certain areas of the aforementioned estate, which became a museum due to its historical value.
