Havana, Cuba__ The United Nations for the Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) sent a congratulatory message to the authorities and people of Cuba on the 58th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution, held on January 1st.

According to Radio Reloj, the letter expresses the desire to strengthen in the New Year the ties between Cuba and Unesco, and remembers that the 70 years of the establishment of the links between Havana and that organization will be fulfilled.

Likewise, the general secretary of the Farabundo Marti Front for the National Liberation, Medardo González, greeted the people of the island for their successful Revolution.

In his program De Frente, broadcasted by Radio Maya Visión, the political leader also extended the greeting to the Cuban ambassador in El Salvador, Iliana Fonseca, the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and the Cuban people and government.
