Havana, Cuba_ The tourism development program in Havana, Varadero, the northern coast of Holguín and the infrastructure of the Mariel Special Development Zone, are priorities within the Plan of the Economy this year, with regard to investments, Radio Reloj publishes.
Likewise, the maintenance and recovery of fuel storage is supported, as well as the development program of the East-West Trasvase, the largest hydraulic construction in Cuba.
Investing in renewable energy sources is also a strategic axis, as these currently only mean 4.65 percent of electricity generation in Cuba.
As for the production of construction materials destined to the retail mercantile circulation, the Plan of the Economy for 2017 ensures similar levels to the previous year.
