The provinces with the greatest impact were Las Tunas, Santiago de Cuba and Guantanamo, in the east, according to the latest issue of the Bulletin of Climate, from the Institute of Meteorology, which also indicated that there are other areas with low rainfall in the rest of the territory national, but with less severity and extent.
The most affected municipalities were Colombia and Jobabo in Las Tunas; Baracoa, in Guantánamo; Buey Arriba, and Guisa in Granma; and Segundo and Tercer Frente in Santiago de Cuba.
