Havana, Cuba_ Qiang Tang, attached general deputy for Education of UNESCO, will carry out an official visit to Cuba from Fecruary 14th to 16th, Cubasí reports.

The executive is accompanied by David Atchoarena, director of the division for politics and knowledge systems for the entire life.

Both have confirmed their participation at the X International Congress of Higher Education University 2016, to take place at the Conventions Palace in Havana.

Qiang will attend the opening of the event and he is expected to visit important educational centers of the city, some of them carrying out their activities associated to UNESCO.

The visitant also has planned meetings with Cuba government authorities of the education sector and the Foreign Relation Minister.

The greater of the Antilles was the only country in Latin Amwerican and the Caribbean to fulfill the objectives of the Development Agenda of Education 2015.
