Havana, Cuba__ The Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski, first Cuban high luxury installation was inaugurated in the heart of Havana as an expression of the Cuban tourist industry's interest in conquering increasingly demanding markets and meeting the demand of services of high quality, Radio Reloj publishes.
According to Manuel Marrero Cruz, head of the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur), this 246-room building is the first of a group of luxury hotels built in the country to show the cultural, historical and heritage legacy of Cuba.
The demand for this type of services grows, so this kind of facilities are built in all the patrimonial cities, Viñales, Santa Clara, Trinidad, Cienfuegos, Holguin, Gibara, Santiago de Cuba and Baracoa, just to mention some examples.
In Havana there is a demand for category hotels to satisfy. In the Gran Manzana, managed by the Kempinski Company, of recognized international fame, the highest technologies are applied and the patrimonial values are widely used.
