Cuba_ About 200 delegates from 12 nations gathered this week to exchange information and communication technologies, the cloister’s training, the guide of the teaching-learning process from a flexible curriculum and other topics related to the social transformation of the adolescent, Cubasí reports.

For this last day of the event, a special panel on Cuban schools associated with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization is planned.

To dialogue about the cultural diversity, national identity and the integral formation of the new generations is one of the main objectives of the Workshop, which includes teachers from Angola, Ecuador, Brazil, the United States and other countries, among them Panama with the largest delegation.ç

For its ideas and actions in favor of inclusive education, the event is dedicated to the leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, and the 50th anniversary of the fall in combat of the Heroic Guerrilla Ernesto Guevara de la Serna and the 500 years of Havana city.

Improvement of the national education system, vocational training and vocational guidance, gender focus in secondary school education and other relevant topics in adolescence focused the discussion on the topic.

According to Zoe La Red, national director of Basic Secondary of the Ministry of Education, this level has an enrollment of more than 359 thousand 500 students, attended by 37 thousand 449 teachers.
