Cuba_ The Independent Expert on Human Rights and International Solidarity of the United Nations, Mrs. Virginia Dandan, will make an official visit to Cuba, starting next July 11 to 13, Cuba Si reports.
According to the Cubaminrex site, during her stay, the representative of the United Nations will carry out a program of meetings and other activities that will allow her to confirm the broad and sustained work of the Island in matters of solidarity and international cooperation.
Ms. Dandan was a member and President of the United Nations Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, an area where she is an internationally recognized expert.
