Havana, Cuba__ The Cuban parliamentary Commission for International Relations made a statement in support of the declaration made by the Revolutionary Government on June 16 regarding the new policy of the President of the United States towards Cuba, Granma newspaper publishes.
In the context of the work in commissions prior to the ninth regular session of the eighth legislature, Yolanda Ferrer, president of the commission, made known the text in which she appreciated the expressions of respect and sympathy for Cuba.
Likewise, the International Relations Committee reiterates that no one can set standards for the Cuban people.
"We will never accept any imposition on norms of conduct or criteria about our democracy or the functioning of our economic, political and social system," the statement said.
