Havana, Cuba_ Cuban scientists consider that the next visit of the United States president, Barak Obama, to Cuba will be another step towards the improvement of the links between the two countries, Radio Reloj publishes.
“The visit of Obama to our country on next March 21 and 22 will help to achieve a higher distension in the process to the normalization of the relationships” expressed Juan Cárdenas Herrera, director of investigations in the Center for Hygiene and Protection of Radiations.
Rene Leyva Montaña, director of the Isotopes Center, said that the visit arises expectative because it is the first official visit of a United States president in function, since 1928.
Meanwhile, Ramon Rodríguez Cardona, from the Nuclear Energy and Advance Technology Agency, stated that “in spite of being neighbors, there has been a gap due to the wrong policy of the northern country”.
