Havana_ The Cuban Council of Churches (CIC) has expressed its willingness to call on its members and friends around the world to contribute to the recovery in the country after Hurricane Irma, Radio Habana Cuba reports. Â
Through a statement issued yesterday, the institution said that, as has happened after previous natural phenomena, it will have an active participation in the recovery of the Cuban people and it will continue to share a message of faith and hope.
The CIC stated that it is in dialogue with the Cuban authorities, as well as with many international organizations and platforms that have sent messages of solidarity and expressed their willingness to contribute to Cuba's recovery.
