Cuba_ With 100 percent of facilities restored with electricity, water and communications, the tourism sector in the country is ready to receive clients and start a successful high season, Manuel Marrero Cruz, Minister of Tourism said.
The official reported that after Hurricane Irma passed through the island, strong work was done, and the necessary infrastructure is already guaranteed to face, from November 15, the arrival of vacationers who choose the destination Cuba, with the same hospitality and quality.
During a meeting with Turoperadores representatives of several travel agencies in the country, managers of hotel chains and specialized press, Marrero Cruz reported that the situation on the beaches is better than before, as the weather phenomenon brought more sand to the Cuban north coast.
Cayo Coco in Ciego de Avila and Cayo Santa MarÃa in Villa Clara are closed today and amid full recuperation process, with 8,820 and 9,845 rooms respectively.
These facilities will be incorporated to provide services gradually between the coming September 30 and November 15, as it has the labor and material resources necessary for that.
