Havana_ The 2nd International Meeting on Business Management and Direction begins today here with the participation of nearly 300 experts from Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Colombia, Nicaragua and other countries, to share knowledge and experiences in this subject, Prensa Latina reports.Â
The socialist company will focus the debates of the event, which includes presentations and panels on issues related to economic efficiency and local development, according to the president of the Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC), Oscar Luis Hung.
The forum includes thematic areas such as: Business management models, Management training and entrepreneurial skills, Business entrepreneurship and innovation in Cuba and Business management in support of local development.
They also include, among others, decision making in the business system, Foreign Investment for Business Management and Systems of Payment for Results.
The meeting will be held until the 13th of this month in the Palace of Conventions and has associated the Expo 2017.
Hung stressed the importance of this event in the current Cuban scenario, of transformations and search for a more active and efficient role of socialist state enterprise and progress in local development.
The meeting is organized by the ANEC in collaboration with the University of Havana and its Faculty of Economics, the Center for Studies in Management Techniques and Studies in the Cuban Economy, the Superior School of Cadres of the State and Government and the Faculty of Industrial Engineering.
