Havana, Cuba_ The Cuban sanitary system reached favorable indicators in Public Health in 2017, including an infant mortality rate of 4.1 per thousand live births, the lowest historical rate in the country, said Roberto Morales, Minister of Health Public, Radio Reloj publishes.

He said that at the close of this Thursday there was a decrease of 35 deaths under one year and that it is possible that December ends with a lower rate.

Morales noted that low birth weight and maternal and school mortality rates were reduced, and stressed that due to congenital malformations, an index of 0.9 deaths per thousand live births is reported as a result of the development of the Genetics Network.

He said that, a few days after a new anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, it can be assured that the army of white coats created by Fidel, continues to make his ideas come true.
