Mayabeque, Cuba_ PastiDance, Eight Years in the Heart of the Family, is the day dedicated to celebrate the birthday of that dance company from Mayabeque, scheduled from March 10 to 17, at the House of Culture Félix Pita Rodríguez, in Bejucal .

The director of the local museum, Luis Manuel Rodríguez Cordero, said during a press conference, that the appointment will include the realization of the Coreodanza Provincial Event 2019, with the participation of other groups of the territory, belonging to the Movement of Amateur Artists.

One of the highest moments will be the premiere of the show Muana Mundele in Cunayanda, White Woman in African Lands, together with the folkloric ballet Orisha-Oko, under the direction of maestro Leonel Menéndez Murray, Rodríguez Cordero highlighted.

The Tambores de Bejucal, an emblematic group led by maestro Alexis Hernández Pérez, is invited to participate in the day.

Other proposals, for those days, will be the inauguration of the Familia SA photographic exhibition, as well as the presentations PastiDance, Passion and the choreographic festival of lights in its eighth edition, where the members of the company, divided as a team, submit their proposals artistic to the consideration of a specialized jury.

The director of the group PastiDance, thanked the support offered to this day by its sponsors, the Party, the Government, the provincial and municipal directions  of Culture, and the mass organizations of Bejucal.
