Mayabeque, Cuba_ The prominent pianist, Huberal Herrera Lescano, gave a concert Wednesday night in Guines. From the hands of the outstanding people could enjoy pieces from Ernesto Lecuona’s authorship.
In a tribute to San Julian de los Guines, Herrera Lescano masterfully played pieces like La comparsa, Noche Azul, Dance LucumÃ, among others.
Huberal Herrera, born in Holguin and resident in Guines, is graduated from Laws, besides being a Bachelor Degree in Administrative Law and Diplomatic and Consular Law of the University of Havana.
Much of his artistic life is devoted to study, research and performance of the work of the greatest Cuban musician of all time, Ernesto Lecuona.
National and international critics noted that in Huberal Herrera, Ernesto Lecuona's music found its most faithful and refined interpreter.
"Huberal Herrera is a brilliant pianist, possessing a beautiful sound as the greatest virtuosos of this instrument, which plays the Cuban music the way we always want to hear it," the Cuban composer Gonzalo Roig, said.
