Mayabeque, Cuba_ Yordano Corrales Agudo, artist from mayabeque will act in the fixed space Giraffe with Glasses “La Jirafa con Gafas) to be held this Thursday, at the Provincial Center of Plastic Arts of this territory. Faithful exponent of the Cuban punto, Corrales is currently engaged in a musical project named Irreverente.
With a contemporary design, the visual artist also presented his phonogram in the Casona Sur Art Gallery in Melena del Sur, where it was widely accepted.
This first edition, which includes ten songs of an equal number of authors from the province, contains decimas from Mayabeque’s poets. Another work is among his plans, this time with sonnets with music.
The project involves highly recognized people with a solid literary work that will have its presentation at the International Book Fair in March in the province of Mayabeque.
The work of Corrales Agudo has its bases in the traditional Cuban trova music basically. Carlos Varela, Gerardo Alfonzo, greatly influenced his training at the School of Art Instructors.
