Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Provincial Baseball Commission (CPB), of Mayabeque, initiated the search for new talents in all pioneer, school and youth categories. The selection includes the female sex, from 7-8 to 14-15 years of age.
A team composed of specialists, began to make visits to the eleven municipalities, until April 3. The purpose is to detect and select children with conditions for the systematic practice of the sport of the balls and the strikes.
The CPB, through its commissioner, Juan Carlos RodrÃguez JorrÃn, announced the calendar of meetings in the stadium or other fields in each territory, where the aspirants of both sexes must attend, the youngest accompanied by their teachers or relatives.
This Wednesday, March 6, they visited Quivicán and today they will be in Bejucal. The coming week is scheduled the visits to Batabanó and Melena del Sur, on March 13 and 14, respectively.
On March 20 and 21, they will be in the demarcations of Jaruco and Santa Cruz del Norte. In Güines, the selection will be on Saturday 23 and Nueva Paz, on Wednesday 27.
The last three municipalities are San Nicolás, the 28, in the provincial capital, on 30, and the tour will end on April 3 in Madruga.
