Mayabeque, Cuba_ The boxer from Batabano, Osvel David Caballero, convincingly defeated Rafael Joubert from Guantanamo, by a vote of three to zero, at the Cuban boxing gala, in Havana’s Sport City.
Osvel showed his mastery of the techniques and skills, in the division of the 56 kilograms, which he owns since he signed the title of the 57th edition of the Playa Girón National Tournament, played at Rafael Fortún Room in Camagüey.
That result deserved his inclusion in the Domadores team. He attended China for the final poster of the World League, where the he contributed with his triumph to the conquest of the seat of honor by Cuba.
He will participate in the Czech contest to be held from May 20 to 26, as a practice before the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
In other results, the young Kevin Brown gave the main news by defeating the Olympic and world champion Roniel Iglesias and Julio Cesar La Cruz was defeated Osnay Bencomo.
Dainier Peró was confirmed in his division by repeating the victory against José Ángel Larduet from Santiago.
