Mayabeque, Cuba_ The athlete Pedro Manuel León Fernández from Mayabeque is one of the candidates to join the Cuba baseball team that will attend the Sub 23 Pan-American Championship, to be held soon in Panama.

The rest of the pitchers are Ulfrido García, from Santiago de Cuba, Alejandro Meneses, from Las Tunas and Pedro Álvarez from Santi Spiritus.

The Panamanian lid sub 23, the first of its kind organized by the Pan-American Baseball Confederation, will be played from November 24 to December 3 and will award four spots for the Sub 23 Baseball World Cup of 2 thousand18.
