Mayabeque, Cuba_ Three workers from Mayabeque and the Base Business Unit (UEB) Eduardo García Delgado, from Quivicán, dedicated to the production of cigars, received the medal Jesus Menéndez Larrondo by agreement of the State Council.  

The proposal formulated by the Cuban Workers’ Federation (CTC), is based on an outstanding career and is given to union leaders.

On this occasion, the awarded were Juan Valentín Rodríguez Morales, from the UEB Empaques flexibles and Ariel Vasallo Rufín, from the Self-service El Progreso dry cleaner, both belonging to the capital of Mayabeque, as well as Marta Suarez López, from El Moderno restaurant, in Melena del Sur , with more than 50 years in that entity.

The ceremony, which took place on the site where the historic battle of Moralitos took place, was attended by Ismary Díaz Cabrera, secretary general of the CTC in the province.
