Mayabeque, Cuba_ Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez Agrarian University and the Municipal University Centers (CUM in Spanish) in Mayabeque, will assume new challenges to improve the quality of teaching at this level, in the 2016-2017 school year.

The higher learning house of the demarcation, will host the transformations in the higher education and for that purpose it has more than a thousand 400 seats for the encounter course (CPE) and 100 for distance learning courses (EaD), with a total of 34 studies courses.

Among the options are include pedagogical specialties, technical, social and humanistic sciences, physical education, veterinary science, agronomy and agro-industrial and agricultural processes.

According to Yusimí Hernández García, secretary at the University Municipal Center of Guines, from the academic year 2016-2017it  will be applied a new procedure for candidates for the CPE and distance education that does not require entrance exams.

Hernández García added that opportunities are offered to enroll specialties of Spanish, History, English and Art Instructors.
