Mayabeque, Cuba_ Members of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) in Mayabeque are working in the preparation of the book, Tiempo de Cocuyos.
The work is a project suggested by the Pablo de la Torriente Brau Publishing House and is based on the childhood, adolescence and youth of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
According to Wimar Verdecia Fuentes, artist and illustrator of the book, this volume will be finished June 30 and presented to the public in August, in honor of the 90th birthday of the leader of the Revolution.
The investigative process for the preparation of the script was carried out by Omar Felipe Mauri and the creators Maria Lemus Cordero and Iran Hernandez Castillo.
Among the bibliographies consulted for the drafting of the text, it is One Hundred Hours with Fidel, by Ignacio Ramonet, All the Time of the Cedars, by Katiuska Blanco Castiñeira and other publications.
