Mayabeque, Cuba_ The Provincial Defense Council visited several strategic areas of the municipality of San José de las Lajas, during the Territorial Day of Defense. 

The day began in the Defense Council 240206 San Antonio de las Vegas, where they held fire drills in the Business Base Unit El Cacique, belonging to the Torcido Habana Tobacco Factory.

They also performed exercises at the Reinaldo García Pérez Polyclinic, the polling stations, Teresa Cantón primary school and Camilo Cienfuegos secondary school, in which the authorities discussed with the students and parents about the first aid, shooting practice, exploration and camping, as well as the importance of going to the polls next March 11.

In Mayabeque Business Group, the visitors verified the missions of each director of the entity in times of war and in situations of natural disasters.

Juan Miguel García Díaz, president of the Provincial Defense Council and First Secretary of the Party in the demarcation, presided over the group and was accompanied by leaders of the territory and heads of the military region.
