Mayabeque, Cuba_ The detachments Looking at the Sea in the province of Mayabeque contribute to the protection of the Cuban coasts and to the confrontation of subversive actions, as well as the detection of drugs and illegal departures.  

Beatriz Guane Robau, secretary of surveillance and prevention in the Provincial Coordination of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), values the work of the men and women who guard the coastline.

Among the actions she highlights the work of control of the troop of Guardafronteras, who prevent the entry of drugs, the illegal trafficking of people and any situation against the interests of the Cuban Revolution.
