Mayabeque, Cuba_ The National Center for Agricultural Health (CENSA) reopened the Klamic plant, one of its leading products in the national and international market. 

More than 250 thousand pesos were used in the central climate system, painting, masonry and labor of the non-state sector, to resume the yields after one year of inactivity.

This maintenance will increase the efficiency levels. The estimated production of 2018 is 640 Kg and starting next year with the recovery of other areas and the entry of necessary inputs it will increase to 700 Kg, according to Anel Linares Núñez, head of the Klamic plant.

Among its advantages, it stands out the contribution to import substitution and obtaining agro-ecological food.

Workers that stood up during the current remodeling actions received recognitions during the act of reopening.

CENSA achieves impact scientific-technical results, aimed at the prevention, diagnosis and control of diseases, pests, food safety and innocuity, as well as the preparation and adaptation to climate change.
